Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

Road vehicles built to carry many passengers at once on a scheduled or semi-scheduled route, from formal city and intercity buses to the informal minibus and jitney services that carry the bulk of urban transit ridership in much of the world. Belongs here: buses, minibuses, jeepneys, matatus and similar shared-ride road vehicles. Does not belong here: rail-based mass transit vehicles such as trams or metro trainsets, grouped under passenger rolling stock, or hand- or animal-drawn passenger vehicles, grouped under animal- and human-powered overland vehicles.
